Thesis: Molecular
analysis of settlement patterns of the California (Mytilus
californianus)
and Blue mussels (M. trossulus and M. galloprovincialis)
in Moss Landing, CA
Current Employment:
Research Technician in the Molecular Ecology Lab, led by Bob Vrijenhoek,
at the Monterey
Bay Aquarium Research Institute (MBARI).
My current project involves constructing a worldwide phylogeny of vent-endemic
deep-sea limpets (genus Lepetodrilus).
I also assist my colleagues with ongoing projects involving whale-falls,
benthic deep-sea animals, and associations with their symbionts.
